The turn of the 19th century was a period of evolution and growth in terms of Royal Copenhagen dinnerware. The artistic director at that time redesigned the blue fluted pattern and introduced a number of new additions including the White Fluted Half Lace. The Fluted design was given an elegant lace demi-border, creating a romantic service.
